To support the OLED industry’s development of high-efficiency, high-performance OLED products, Universal Display has developed and offers a number of UniversalPHOLED^® materials to its partners. PHOLED materials offer excellent luminous efficiency, brilliant colors and long operating lifetimes to meet a variety of display and lighting requirements.

Commercial PHOLED materials are produced exclusively for Universal Display by PPG Industries and device-qualified at Universal Display - using proven manufacturing practices and established quality management systems.

To ensure that Universal Display produces and supplies high-quality products to meet and exceed the requirements and expectations of its customers, it has established a Quality Management System (QMS) that consists of quality policies, processes, procedures and records for the design, production, qualification and supply of its Products for its customers.  The QMS was formally certified to the standard ISO 9001: 2008 in the third quarter of 2009.

Available for evaluation and use in commercial production, a number of PHOLED materials have demonstrated the ability to meet the demanding conditions of high-volume production environments.

With state-of-the-art chemistry and device laboratories at Universal Display, our multi-disciplinary team continues to invent and develop new high-performance PHOLED materials.
